# Animesh Jaiswal — Creative Developer & AI Engineer

## Current direction

The current editorial portfolio follows the user's new brief and treats https://guillaumezhu.com as a benchmark for craft and narrative pacing. It uses an original composition, original interface studies, and original GLSL visuals. No reference branding, assets, project imagery, distinctive graphics, or source code are reused.

Paper #F2F1EC, ink #101010, neutral gray #CFCEC8, and one cobalt accent #244BFF. Locally hosted Geist creates the display and body hierarchy; Geist Mono provides indexes and metadata. The previous dark studio and CRT asset remain in the repository as historical source, but are not loaded by the current page.

## Active implementation

- components/editorial-portfolio.tsx: project studies, contact, dialogs, and mobile navigation.
- components/editorial-toolkit.tsx and .css: a dark, pinned toolkit stage with four animated technology-card fans, category navigation, hover and focus elevation, and swipeable mobile decks.
- components/editorial-scroll-story.tsx and .css: one continuous scroll stage connecting the opening, manifesto, journey, and philosophy.
- components/story-sculpture.tsx: animated signal graph shared across the story.
- components/editorial.css: editorial composition, responsive typography, interface study styling, cursor, and reduced-motion states.
- components/ui/SplashCursor.tsx: React Bits rainbow fluid cursor, with passive pointer input, idle suspension, and WebGL resource cleanup.
- components/ui/particle-text.tsx: React Bits particle contact headline, with multiline sampling, viewport-aware playback, and static text fallback.
- components/selected-works.tsx and .css: full-width project chapters in ordinary document flow, with scoped GSAP parallax, project anchors, locally cached editorial photographs, and project detail dialogs.
- public/images/projects/: seven project photographs reused from the owner’s existing portfolio.
- components/editorial-project-visual.tsx: original HTML interface studies within the project dialogs.
- components/use-studio-motion.ts: Lenis / GSAP integration, eased anchor navigation, modal scroll locks, and reduced-motion handling.
- lib/selected-projects.ts: seven sourced project entries; lib/content.ts: shared content and verified public contact configuration.

## Interaction and performance

One native sticky stage is driven by a reversible GSAP timeline. The name separates into Design / Code / Intelligence; the manifesto rolls through Think / React / Create; the journey changes scale and typography through Code / Intelligence / Experience; and the philosophy resolves into In Between. An abstract technical graph carries through the sequence, morphing from a layered computation lattice to a connected latent network and an output matrix. Signal packets travel along its edges. The view responds subtly to the pointer; it does not spin continuously. The background shifts from paper to cobalt to ink and back to paper. This replaces separate chapter screens and reduces the scroll length from 1,260vh to 780vh (730vh on mobile). Chapter anchors map to timeline positions. Reduced motion puts every narrative frame in ordinary document flow. Canvas sizing ignores parent transforms.

The playground and its particle simulation have been removed from the active page. The story graph uses 80 nodes, 192 edges, and 64 traveling signal packets across three draw calls. GLSL handles morphing and packet motion; no external models or textures are loaded. A static SVG graph is available when WebGL is unavailable. Reduced motion uses demand rendering and removes decorative scroll and cursor animations. It does not imply a measured 60fps guarantee across devices.

The short preloader reflects font and field readiness with an 1.8-second maximum wait; repeat visits in the same tab skip it. No artificial minimum loading delay is added. Content and navigation are not blocked by it.

The desktop navigation, Cmd/Ctrl+K section search, mobile fullscreen menu, and project dialogs retain keyboard focus and Escape dismissal. Native touch scrolling is preserved. The Motion toggle remains available in the contact footer. The toolkit follows the supplied card-fan reference: 32 technology cards rise from below, stagger into overlapping angled fans, hold for exploration, and exit before the next discipline. A reversible scroll timeline drives four decks: creative development, AI engineering, generative systems, and creative tools. Each card has a technology name, type, and distinct color treatment; no unsupported learning or proficiency claims are added. Hover, focus, or selection lifts a card forward. Left/right arrows move keyboard focus between cards, and discipline links map to settled timeline positions. Mobile uses large, horizontally swipeable cards with scroll snapping. Reduced motion displays every card in ordinary responsive grids without pinning or flying transitions. Initial section links are resolved after fonts and scroll layout initialize.

Selected Works follows the toolkit as a sequence of full-width editorial project chapters. Each chapter has a large preview, title, summary, project focus, and links to details and the next chapter. The final chapter continues directly to Contact. All projects remain in normal document flow: there are no wheel or touch listeners, cancelled scroll events, automatic alignment, snapping, pinning, nested scroll containers, or drag-to-browse gestures in this section. GSAP observes the page position for subtle image parallax and copy reveals; its scoped context cleans up animations when filtering or changing the motion preference. The existing Lenis instance continues to handle desktop page scrolling, and native vertical touch scrolling is preserved. Project index links and next-chapter links use the shared anchor navigation. Reduced motion keeps the same visible, readable layout with animation disabled. Project filters and detail dialogs remain available. Website links use the destinations published on the source portfolio.

The contact headline uses the supplied React Bits ParticleText component, adapted for two lines of type in the existing ink/cobalt palette. It gathers on first entry, gently responds to the pointer, and stops rendering while offscreen or when the document is hidden. A real-text fallback remains available before initialization and with reduced motion. The whole headline retains the contact button action and keyboard access. The rainbow SplashCursor uses density dissipation 2.5, splat radius 0.1, splat force 4500, and color update speed 13. It replaces the former dot cursor, allows clicks and scrolling through its overlay, is disabled on coarse-pointer devices and with reduced motion, and suspends after five seconds of inactivity. The site Motion toggle controls both effects. The React Bits license is included at /licenses/react-bits.txt.

## Content boundaries

Selected Works now uses the seven entries from https://animeshjaiswal.com/ (retrieved September 25, 2026): Screener, Carafina, Holyheaden, Genrage, Mediffic, Moneyfrog, and Hair Maiden India. Published names, descriptions, years, destinations, and editorial images are preserved. Taglines and category groupings are editorial adaptations. The photographs are the source portfolio’s editorial imagery, not product screenshots. Exact contribution, stacks, and measured outcomes are not supplied and are not asserted. Historical concept components are not rendered by the homepage. Journey copy and toolkit technologies come from the user's supplied brief. The contact dialog lazy-loads the official Cal.com calendar for the verified 15-minute event, with a direct Cal.com fallback and email link. Cal.com handles confirmations and invitations. API authentication is used only by the local configuration sync; credentials are never exported. Social profiles remain unspecified.

## Development and publishing

Next.js 15 / React 19 / TypeScript / Tailwind CSS, with GSAP, Framer Motion, Lenis, Three.js, and React Three Fiber. No dependency changes were necessary.

Use npm run dev -- --port 3002 for this task's preview (another local project occupies 3001). Use npm run typecheck and npm run build for validation. Production exports to out/; development uses .next-dev/. The existing Site remains owner-private.
